In 1972 this Barelli mini-poster by Bob de Moor was published in the french Tintin journal, number 1233 to be exact. It of course was part of the “Le bouddha boudant” album which was a real chef-d’oeuvre.
The album was one of the Barelli albums that closed in most perfectly on the design as used by Hergé for Tintin. It’s at this stage that de Moor and Hergé were almost working symbiotically together as far as clear line output is concerned. And you can’t beat a winning team, can you?
